Through Mist And Blood

Beware of the accursed
A plague, fallen from the sky
Corroded and heartless
A new hunt has begun
The moon hangs high, even those who hide
Slowly turn into hideous beasts
This time it won't end. Burdened by many a fight,
A father leaves into the night.
Is he a human or a beast?
A threat to his own people?
One by one, each beast he kills
A beast he becomes
Claws and fangs, harder than steel
Forged in the depths of the abyss
No compassion, no fear
No mercy, no regrets
Why only silence still violently echoes
Through mist and blood?
Voices, whispers of yore, inhuman
language of those who dwell above
The wrath, the violence
The call of the blood
The legacy of the gods
The curse carries on
White opaque eyes
See no hope
Bloodshot eyes
See no truth
Beyond salvation
When all is done
Nothing remains
Is he a human or a beast?
A threat to his own kin?
Drop by drop, piece by piece
His consciousness will fade
Why only silence still violently echoes
Through mist and blood?
Voices, whispers of yore, inhuman
language of those who dwell above
