As the wind blows my heart follows
Beneath bright sun, or cloudy sky
Wherever my sore feets may go
Content with no home, till I die
I used to live a gambler's life
No wife, a hundred lovers
And more beds to discover
Always avoiding the strife
He was drunk and proud,
And dressed for war
